Griffin is a one year old Pomeranian who's very sick. Griffin is facing two options; one is euthanasia; the other is a kidney transplant. This cute little guy is getting excellent veterinary care but he needs the transplant as soon as possible.
There are no guarantees with this type of surgery, but Griff's Veterinarians believe that he's is an excellent candidate for this rare procedure because of his age and because the donated kidney will be from one of his Pomeranian sisters so it will be close to a perfect match.
This type of canine surgery is so specialized, that it's only available at a few out of state Veterinary University Medical Centers.
Griffin's family loves him and all of their Pomeranians enough that they're committed to doing everything they can to make the transplant possible. The cost of the surgery is substantial and more than they can fund on their own especially since it needs to be scheduled ASAP.
Domenique has created a fundraising site on Blogspot http://savegriff.blogspot.com/ where anyone who's able to help can make a contribution toward the cost of Grif's lifesaving operation.
I hope that you'll take a minute to visit Griffin's blog and leave an encouraging comment for him and his family... Thanks so much, xo
