Visit BF Rapid Response Web Page if you're interested in going to Haiti to volunteer with Best Friends and the other rescuers working with Animal Relief Coalition for Haiti. They will need volunteers with a history of responding to major disasters and with experience handling small and/or large animals. Since conditions are so severe in Haiti, volunteers will have to be self-sufficient and able to work long hours in extreme heat without shelter. You need a passport and vaccinations.
